▪ Introduction to Personality Development - Orientation, determinants, personality and behavior, attitudes and behavior - knowing yourself - I vs. You ▪ Perception - significance, internal set factors, external attention, perceptual defense ▪ Motivation: The Whys of Human Behavior - motive types, motivation theories ▪ Interpersonal Communication - introduction, nature, scope, types of communication - importance of body language - written communication - letters, memos, proposals, e-communication - participating in meetings, conferences, expert group chats - presentation skills - linguistic content, negotiation ▪ Group Discussions and Interview Preparation - an interactive/live case analysis ▪ The Successful Person - being a great professional, possessing vision and goals - setting priorities and managing time - handle stress and relationships ▪ Dressing Sense - importance of dressing appropriately - stand out from the crowd with tips on dressing for different occasions |
Who should take this program?
It is a general perception that personality development courses are taken at the time when students wish to enter the university or when they are about to begin their career. However, there is no particular professional phase or age as a pre-requisite to develop and polish your personality.
It is all about assessing and knowing your inner self, learning the interpersonal skills that you lack in, indulge in active conversations and discussions, improve your confidence level, manage time effectively, face and eradicate constraints, and be ready to establish your stand in the mainstream professional and personal arena.
